It offers its services through 99Taxis system, a platform that optimizes the initial contact between ‘drivers’ and ‘passengers’. 99’s platform, 99Taxis allows registered passengers to locate and contact drivers in their area to directly and exclusively request the provision of transportation services. Ariel Lambrecht, Paulo Veras, and Renato Freitas founded it in July 2012, with its headquarters in São Paulo in Brazil as a subsidiary of Didi Chuxing Technology since December 31, 2017.
