ABACUS COUNSELLORS
Abacus Counsellors C.I.C. is a Community Interest Company otherwise known as a Social Enterprise. This means that any profits are used for the benefit of the community (in this case the children and young people who come to them) rather than for private gain. The service was set up with the help of a grant from the Dept of Health Social Enterprise Investment Fund. They hold fundraising activities to help keep their service going and they ask for contributions towards the cost of the counselling or play therapy.
