aboutPLACE is a personalized location search engine that helps people and businesses evaluate neighborhoods and areas relative to their interests and needs. aboutPLACE ranks neighborhoods and areas based on how well they serve the user’s needs, as defined by criteria that has been input by the user. Users have the ability to select their criteria from a broad range of data sets that include demographics, amenities, lifestyle and public infrastructure. Through a combination of rankings, interactive SMARTMapp visuals and neighborhood snapshots, user’s gain insights and a hyperlocal understanding of location relative to their individual interests.
