ACOTEL GROUP
They are the people that created the global market for value added mobile services. Acotel SpA, from which the Group takes its name, was the first company in the world to develop an SMS information service. This service, launched in 1997 in collaboration with Telecom Italia Mobile and known as ScripTIM by Acotel, brought mobile telecommunications and media together, offering cell phone access to real-time news coverage from the ANSA press agency. Since their stock market listing in Augus... t 2000, they have worked hard to achieve a better fit between the core businesses of the different companies in their Group, designed to exploit the expertise developed by each of them and profit from indispensable product and process synergies.
