ADVANCED PLANT GROWTH CENTRE
APGC develops science that underpins commercial, economic, and environmental benefits in the agriculture, food, and beverage sectors. Manipulation of the greenhouse production environment to improve strawberry quality and health benefits, elucidating the mechanisms of senescent sweetening in stored potato tubers to improve storage regimes and identify candidate genes, and improving crop production efficiency in vertical farming systems are just a few of the innovations. The Advanced Plant Growth Centre (APGC) project was announced on 22 November 2018 and is based in Invergowrie, United Kingdom.
