AGRI-BUSINESS INCUBATOR OF ICRISAT
Agri-Business Incubator of ICRISAT (ABI-ICRISAT) was created in 2003 by ICRISAT with support of the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India under its NSTEDB-Technology Business Incubator (TBI) scheme with a vision of supporting innovative technology-backed ag-tech start-up and agribusiness solutions for solving dryland agricultural challenges. The incubator is part of the International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT), an international agricultural res... earch for development organization that works towards improving the livelihood of smallholder farmers and rural communities in the dryland tropics of Asia and sub-Saharan Africa, and is located at Patancheru, near Hyderabad in Telangana. The incubator is part of the Agribusiness & Innovation Platform of ICRISAT, that also comprises of three other programs: Innovation & Partnership, NutriPlus Knowledge, and IP Facilitation Cell.
