I began my career in investment real estate brokerage, brokering multifamily and retail properties in the D/FW metroplex. I raised both the debt and private-equity to develop townhomes and garden office buildings, managed the site development and construction, leased them to full occupancy and finally through to disposition. After a successful career in real estate, I accepted a financial adviser position with Edward Jones, managing their office in University Park, a suburb of Dallas. In 2015, ... I founded Ahmeti Wealth Management, LLC, a fee-based investment advisory firm, offering a wide range of investment management, retirement planning, insurance and real estate consulting services. I believe that taxes can have a profound impact on the financial planning process and in order to eventually provide tax advice, I am scheduled to complete the four parts of the CPA exam by the fall of 2019. I graduated from the University of North Texas in 2002 with a BBA in Finance and a BS in Accounting Control Systems. I am a member of the North Texas Chapter of the CCIM Institute and the National Association of Realtors and when I’m not growing my business, I’m reading, running, or fishing.More
