The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), in collaboration with the 15 National Boards, is responsible for implementing the National Registration and Accreditation Scheme across Australia. This includes registering practitioners who are properly trained and qualified to provide safe healthcare, as well as looking into complaints about registered health practitioners.
