ALABAMA AUDUBON
Founded in 1946 as the Birmingham Audubon Society, Alabama Audubon has since grown to become our state’s leading nonprofit promoting conservation and greater knowledge of birds, their habitats, and the natural world. While we’re certified as a chapter of the National Audubon Society, we are a separate 501(c)(3) that relies on your support to carry out our outreach and conservation work. By giving directly to Alabama Audubon, you ensure that every dollar stays in our state for the benefit of ... our birds and bird lovers. As Alabama’s only staffed Audubon entity, we work closely with our partners at Tennessee Valley Audubon Society, Mobile Bay Audubon Society, and Shoals Audubon Society to strengthen the Audubon network and connect all of our state’s residents with conservation opportunities. We have staffed offices in Birmingham, Greensboro, and Mobile.
