ALBERTO HURTADO UNIVERSITY
Alberto Hurtado University was established in 1997 by the Society of Jesus. The idea was to offer the country an education project based in the Jesuit tradition. Contributes to personal development, promotes a fairer society in Chile and Latin America through research, teaching and extension of quality. Seeks to cultivate a new humanism, through a creative interaction of science with the Christian conception of the world. Delivers comprehensive training to students with the goal to make them professionals in ethical sense, with capacity to respond creatively to personal and social challenges.
