Alcomet JSC is the largest Bulgarian manufacturer of aluminum rolled and press products. The company offers a wide range of aluminum semi-finished products – household, plastered, technical and packaging foil, finstock, aluminum sheets and strips, standard and profiles according to the customer's drawing. 95% of the production is exported mainly to Europe and the United States of America. The company continuously invests in new technologies and improvement of existing capacities to meet the h... igh demands of its customers and to expand its market positions. In 2019 it is expected to complete another investment project of the company, which will double capacity and expand production capacity by an additional 13000m2. The rolling production provides for the commissioning of a new generation of cold-rolled loom with a maximum band width of 2200 mm, continuous casting line, thermal and additional processing facilities. In the field of press production, the new 25 MN HybrEx press, will allow Alcomet to produce profiles with a described circumference of up to 310mm and a wall thickness of up to 0.8mm. By investing in state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies, the company aims to enter new markets with higher added value, such as construction and architecture, automotive and packaging production.More
