Algo Peers is a fast-growing technology community in Africa with a strong commitment to improving access to STEAM education and resources for talented individuals on the continent. The community is bridging the gap between industry and education and creating a distributed economy for educators, innovators, and STEAM facilitators, leveraging Intelligent Data. Within its first year of operation, Algo Peers has engaged over 500 students and organized more than 100 after-school community trainings,... with a goal of reaching 10,000 students in the next three years. The community has also completed over 2000 cumulative hours of coding, making it a powerful force for STEAM education and innovation in Africa. Algo Peers has formed global partnerships with grants and accelerator supports worth over $50,000 from top organizations such as Microsoft for Startups, BBC Micro:bit Educational Foundation, Nordic Semiconductor, and OKdo. These partnerships provide students and educators with access to the latest technological advancements and problem-solving skills.
