ALTAVIAN
Altavian manufactures, sells, services, and operates small unmanned aircraft systems. Developed by graduates from the University of Florida specializing in Aerospace Engineering and Geomatics, Altavian’s core technology is designed for scientific data collection through its superior UAS. As opposed to satellites or aircraft, which are traditional methods used to acquire data over large areas or in hostile environments, UAS can capture high detail through many applications- a feat that the aforementioned methods cannot provide. Altavian deploys unmanned systems on-demand to produce precision data without endangering human lives. The company was founded in 2011 and is headquartered in Gainesville, Florida.
