Altoids is a strong mint brand that works well as a breath freshener. It is primarily sold in distinctive metal tins. Altoids mints come in a variety of flavors, including peppermint, wintergreen, spearmint, cinnamon, and strawberry. Callard & Bowser-Suchard used to manufacture Altoids in Bridgend, Wales, but has since relocated production to a Mars Wrigley plant in Chattanooga, Tennessee, in order to manufacture the products closer to where they are primarily marketed.
