Alumina Energy is developing a breakthrough technology that converts wasted or excess energy into a highly dispatchable and low-cost (under $80/MWh) zero emissions energy resource for customers heat and power needs. Using recycled ceramic thermal storage material, Alumina Energy offers dispatchable energy storage systems ranging from kWh to GWh. Our proprietary Alumina Packed Bed energy storage technology was developed at the City College of New York (CCNY) with funding from the Department of Energy (DOE) SunShot Program.
