Amentum Scientific is an analytics and data automation company founded in 2016 and based in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. We have development proprietary physics-based software to accurately simulate propagation of light from natural (e.g. the sun) and artificial sources (e.g. lidar) through atmosphere and ocean environments, interactions with objects, through to detection by remote sensors. The software enables customers to explore new sensor system designs and concepts of operations, s... aving time and development costs for remote sensing projects. The software can also become a digital twin for existing remote sensing products, helping our customers to educate their customers about the features and limitations depending on the operating environment. We also develop web Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and other software interfaces to Earth Science data. We automate the processing of data derived from satellite imagery, predictive scientific models, and in-situ sensors, making that available via API to our customers. Applications are varied and include: recording exposures of aircrew to cosmic radiation for airlines, enabling terrain avoidance technologies with gravitational information, or forecasting biogeochemistry conditions of the ocean in a particular area of interest to fisheries or conservation.More
