ANANSI
Anansi is an embedded goods-in-transit insurance platform for distribution partners and e-commerce merchants. Access to the platform is via an embedded API, enabling 3PLs, e-commerce and shipping platforms, marketplaces and online retailers to offer insurance directly to their customers from within their own front-end environments. It is the only solution, in a $33 billion market, that is automated to offer one-click signup, zero admin and parametrically triggered claims and payouts when a par... cel is lost or delayed. Founded by Megan Bingham-Walker and Ana Martins de Carvalho, who have experienced first hand the frustrations of cumbersome paper-based onboarding and claims processes, ambiguous pricing, and the inadequate cover offered by traditional providers. As an Appointed Representative of Resolution Underwriting Partnership Limited, Anansi has successfully secured £1.5 million in a pre-seed funding round led by Octopus Ventures and is on a mission to provide e-commerce businesses with fast, fair and flexible goods-in-transit insurance.
