Applied Biomimetic is an international biomimetic engineering group that builds upon a simple but powerful concept: Nature’s ability to separate chemical elements at the molecular level using highly specialised proteins as tools. In fact, Applied Biomimetic holds the global patent for the basic idea of embedding proteins in a polymeric membrane.
