THE ALLIANCE FOR QUALITY EDUCATION

The Alliance for Quality Education (AQE) is a fast-growing statewide coalition of over 200 organizations including parent organizations, children's advocacy groups, schools, teachers organizations, churches, labor unions, and others who believe that every child in New York State deserves a quality education. in 2007 we secured a multi-year commitment to increase NYS funding for public education by $7 billion. Our goal now is to ensure investment in sound educational strategies to increase student success in high need and low performing school districts.
