ASBESTOS SAFETY AND ERADICATION AGENCY
The Asbestos safety and eradication agency was formed to offer a national focus on asbestos issues that expand beyond workplace safety to environmental and public health concerns. Encouraging, coordinating, monitoring, and reporting on the implementation of the national strategic plan on asbestos awareness and management, providing asbestos safety advice to the minister, liaising with commonwealth, state, territory, and local governments, agencies, and bodies about the implementation, review, or amendment of and commissioning, monitoring, and promoting asbestos safety research. They pay respect to the people, cultures, and elders of the past, present, and future.
