AUSTRALIA FOR UNHCR

Australia for UNHCR is the UN Refugee Agency's national partner in Australia, and the organization raises awareness and funds to assist UNHCR's humanitarian response to emergencies around the globe. It receives funding in the form of donations from individuals, trusts, foundations, and other organizations that donate to and partner with Australia for UNHCR. Other fundraising efforts include supporting community events, corporate partnerships, and foundation work. UNHCR Australia also conducts education and advocacy initiatives to increase public awareness of the plight of displaced people around the world and UNHCR's efforts to protect and care for them.
