AZYXXI

azyxxi-logo

Azyxxi (now Microsoft Amalga) is a unified health enterprise platform designed to consolidate health records and information online. Ayxxi draws from scanned documents, electrocardiograms, X-rays, MRI scans and other medical imaging procedures, lab results, dictated reports of surgery, as well as patient demographics and contact information. Azyxxi was designed and developed to capture, integrate and display data from wherever it was created. The system can answer clinician-specific questions, and uses existing data to enable situational awareness and facilitate the recognition of patterns in the data. Azyxxi was acquired by Microsoft in October, 2006.
