BPF sells packages of biological farming supplements, drip irrigation and farming accessories with the potential to increase farmer yields upwards of 219%. The average starting price is $200 - $500 USD per 1/2acre of production. BPF also serves smallholder farmers with access to 40+ conservation farm training classes delivered at each of its franchise training and distribution centers. There are more than 100 million smallholder farmers in the East and sub- Saharan Africa with more than 27 mi... llion in Kenya. 21 million have approximately 2-5 acres of land earning their primary income from horticulture with the potential to qualify for commercial credit. Backpack Farm supplies smallholder farmers in Kenya and the East African Community (EAC) with packages of green farming inputs, comprehensive training and links to equitable finance; increasing production yields and potential income while conserving local ecology.
