BANGOR THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY

Bangor Theological Seminary offers graduate-level ministerial and theological degrees in cooperation with the Episcopalian church. Bangor Theological’s academics incorporate a substantial amount of one-on-one mentorship, as well as service to the community. Bangor Theological’s two campuses are in Bangor and Portland, Maine. Both campuses offer master’s degrees in Divinity and Ministry and a Doctorate in Ministry. All Bangor Theological students have the option of participating in the Me... ntored Practice program. Through Mentored Practice, students meet with faculty and peer mentors to discuss their spiritual and academic progress and receive support. Worship is a significant part of college life at Bangor Theological, and both campuses hold regular religious services. Students attend and provide service at local churches, as well. Bangor Theological Seminary’s financial aid options include federal Pell grants, state grants, SEOG grants, work-study awards and different types of student loans. Bangor Theological also awards a select number of scholarships and honors scholarships from local churches and charitable organizations. Materials required for admissions include an application with a fee, transcripts from all schools attended, recommendation letters and a personal statement.More
