BEAUFORT HISTORIC SITE
The Beaufort Historic Site is a museum that is home to a complex of nine historic houses that tell the story of the coastal region of North Carolina in the 18th and 19th centuries. They conduct research and documentation of the people, customs, lifestyles, and artifacts of Beaufort’s past and preserve the town’s historic identity in the future.
