Bess Media and Bess Technology are international companies, based in London, specialising in online services for consumers, publishers and advertisers involved in the 'considered purchases' market. The main consumer product is Pintarget.com, a semantic search engine for Members to research things they want to buy. Pintarget.com combines a scrapbook (or 'Researcher') for collecting search results and community generated content (such as recommendations) with a 'question and answer' tool for a... sking questions to relevant experts in the Community. All content and search results are ranked according to the Member's profile, activity and stated intentions in an environment sensitive to the Member's privacy settings. The platform has been extended to allow Member's to interact with their research tools outside Pintarget and on Publisher’s websites. The same relevance engine is available on the advertising platform to allow advertisers to create customised ad content for Member’s researching the advertiser's product or service.More
