On April 8, 2011, Blexon GmbH is registered in the commercial register by the three founding members Bruno Kaelin (electrical engineer), Jonas Vonaesch (mechanical engineer) and Thomas Bossardt (software developer). In July of the same year, a trial version of the portal will be activated for the first time, and just three months later, Blexon GmbH will deliver laser-cut sheet metal parts to selected test customers. On January 12, 2012, the definitive Blexon portal will be activated! Thanks to ... this laser-cut sheet metal parts can now be ordered online around the clock. Since this first, big step, there are always extensions. As of June 2013, items can also be ordered by lorry transport in addition to mailing and ramp pickup. Ordering sheet metal online should be as easy as possible! Just one month later, the next major function follows: bending parts can now also be imported, calculated and ordered in the Blexon portal, which is a worldwide unique online service. The next step will be to adjust the calculation model in January 2014. The "setup costs per raw material" are now reported separately. By ordering items with the same raw materials, setup costs can be saved. Shortly thereafter, another function will be possible in April: laser-marking. This allows the labeling and marking of sheet metal parts. From July 2014, sheet metal parts on the Blexon portal can also be ordered mechanically or manually deburred. The year 2015 starts the Blexon GmbH with a revised web appearance. At the beginning of 2016, Blexon GmbH will launch the largest development project so far. In a CTI project, a completely new portal is to be created. Among other things, the new portal will replace the outdated Silverlight technology and implement new functions such as STEP import, multi-import and a 3D editor. In mid-2016, Blexon GmbH moves into office space on the Ebenaustrasse (SmartUp, HSLU) in order to promote software development. On December 19, 2017, Blexon GmbH will be converted into Blexon AG.
