BLUMBERG EXCELSIOR, INC.
BlumbergExcelsior's modest beginnings date back to 1887 and a small, two-room store on Division Street in New York City. Founder Julius Blumberg's store sold newspapers, magazines, candy, and stationery and related items. Julius Blumberg became aware of the needs of the lawyers who regularly attended the civic group meetings in the back room. They quickly recognized young Julius' ingenuity and discussed their office problems with him.
