BUCKNELL UNIVERSITY

With schools like the University of Pennsylvania and Carnegie Mellon University in the same state, some students might overlook Bucknell University. Nonetheless, despite the competition Bucknell remains one of the nation’s top liberal arts universities. Bucknell’s academics focus primarily on undergraduate study, offering nearly 50 majors and the option to design your own. The bulk of these programs are contained within the College of Arts and Sciences, but undergraduates can also enroll in... the School of Management or the College of Engineering. Graduate studies at Bucknell include a variety of programs, such as Animal Behavior, Psychology, English, Chemistry. Bucknell’s Engineering master’s programs are generally considered to be its strongest. Financial aid options at Bucknell include scholarships, grants, loans and work-study. Graduate students can apply for assistantships and internships, both of which cover tuition and provide a small stipend. Bucknell accepts the Common Application for undergraduate admissions.
