BUDDY has been established in 2017 with the sole purpose of making HR and Payroll an easier task both for the employee and the employer. In-fact the reason that BUDDY came to light was the fact that no other local payroll system at the time had the ability to “talk” to other software via an API. What we found was that business owners were frustrated that their key systems could not really and truly “talk” to each other, but relied on manual processes of copying csv data from one appli... cation to another to in an attempt to make systems communicate to each other. With this key frustration, we set ahead to learn the processes behind payroll from the perspective of both a payroll bureau as well as that of a business owner. A journey that took us towards looking towards the best in class solutions around the world, in order to bring forth much needed innovation within the market. Feedback from our first beta customers in 2018, clearly identified the fact that we were on the right track with BUDDY very quickly dubbed as the “easiest payroll software I have ever used”. From day 0, we identified a number of Integrations that were critical in executing payroll as a complete flow, the seamless integration with Deputy, a world-class Time & Attendance solution, which we also represent in Malta.
