The association is primarily focused on the areas of civil justice reform; corporate governance; the digital economy; education and workforce; environment, technology, and economy; fiscal policy; health and retirement; international trade and investment; and security. Business Roundtable was founded in 1972 and is based in Washington, District of Columbia.
