CALGARY SOCIAL VALUE FUND
The National Social Value Fund is a registered Canadian non-profit society that serves a network of community-focused Social Value Fund teams across Canada. These Social Value Funds exist to support social purpose businesses and social enterprises who are under-served by the current impact investing market in Canada. We engage with a blend of impact investors, foundations, government, and other aligned capital providers to accomplish this. Through the Social Value Fund student program, we provid... e experiential education, support and resources to empower undergraduate students in these communities to create, manage, and run their own locally-focused teams. These student teams identify and fill funding gaps identified in their communities, and support their peers in other communities to do the same.
