As its name suggests, Calvin College is a Christian institution affiliated with Calvinism. In fact, the school was actually founded by the Christian Reformed Church. Using a liberal arts curriculum, Calvin College teaches students to grow in faith and serve in God’s world. Calvin College’s academics present a vast number of opportunities. The minimum admissions requirements for Calvin College are a 2.5 GPA and a 20 on the ACT (or a 940 on the SAT). The college uses a rolling admissions policy, so it’s a good idea to apply early. Financial aid is abundant at Calvin College, but there are a few key dates to keep in mind. For full scholarship consideration, make sure you have your application materials in by February 1.
