Want to receive high quality education at a convenient community college? Then Casper College, the oldest two-year institution in Casper, Wyoming, may be the place for you. Besides providing academic transfer degrees, vocational training, continuing education, and basic education skills, Casper College aims to improve quality of life and build sustainable communities with its educational opportunities. Academics at the college include more than 50 associate’s degrees and 30 technical or ca... reer-field options in five different schools: Business and Industry, Science, Fine Arts and Humanities, Health Science, and Social and Behavioral Sciences. You can earn a certificate in a year, an associate’s degree in two, and, if choosing to stay longer, a four-year degree or master’s with one of many partner institutions. Stressing the importance of professional development, the college also provides a number of educational resources such as learning communities, international education, university partnerships, media services, a career center, and more. Because the college has a diverse body of students from across 20 countries, it is also home to an International Students Club, which promotes friendships based on respect for cultural exchange. Student housing and a meal plan is available, but not required. Financial aid is available for qualifying students through a number of scholarships and loans. Those attending Casper College who’ve graduated from a Wyoming high school or home school, or have earned a GED may be eligible for the Hathaway scholarship, unique to Casper College.More
