In August 2015, Playground Global, a venture capital company provided a series A funding of $15M into castAR to build its product and create mixed-reality experiences. In July 2016, we opened castAR Salt Lake City office, a new development studio formed from a team that we hired out of the former Avalanche Software, which worked on the Disney Infinity series.
