CENTER FOR EDUCATION IN TV AND RADIO

The Center for Education in TV and Radio strives to provide a functional, effective education for future broadcasting professionals. The school features up-to-date equipment, experienced instructors and the hands-on vocational academics you need to find work in this exciting field. The Center for Education in TV and Radio offers two certificate programs: * Media Talent & Production * Media Technical Engineering The Media Talent & Production program is designed primarily for those who’d... like to be in front of the camera. In this course, you’ll learn first-hand about field reporting, anchoring and how to produce and edit your own story. The Media Technical Engineering course is for students who prefer to work behind the scenes. Working with industry equipment, you’ll learn about all of the technical aspects of TV and radio production. Both courses last for seven months. Scheduling is flexible, with classes taught in the morning and evening. Though it does not participate in federal financial aid programs, the Center for Education in TV and Radio funds a scholarship program. To apply for this tuition assistance, you must submit two letters of recommendation and a personal statement. The admissions application for the Center for Education in TV and Radio is available on the school’s website. The application is relatively short and completion is quick.
