CHINA FOUNDATION FOR DISABLED PERSONS

Founded in 1984, CFDP is a national public foundation with its theme of promoting humanity and love while serving disabled persons. The vision of CFDP is "gathering goodwill", helping all the people with humanitarian love. Our goal is to build a world-class foundation which is transparent, open, efficient and credible. Since its foundation, CFDP has raised funds to advocate about helping disabled persons and improve their rehabilitation, education and employment situations. Under the leadersh... ip of its chairman Mr DENG Pufang, CFDP has forged series of highly influential charity projects like "Charity Gala Ball"," Enlightenment project" and "China Accessibility Forum". "Goodwill project" which is comprised of various charity projects to help the disabled, has become a brand for CFDP. In 1988, CFDP was granted the UN" Peace Messenger Award" while Mr DENG Pufang received the honour of "Decade Award for Disabled Persons". In 2003, Mr DENG Pufang won the UN "Human Rights Award". In 2008, among the first round of rating for charity foundations conducted by Ministry of Civil Affairs, CFDP was rate 5A, the highest level, which has been renewed in 2013. In 2010, CFDP was awarded by Ministry of Civil Affairs " Advanced Social Organization". In 2011, "Enlightenment project" has been awarded "the Most Influential Charity Project". In 2013,"Sunshine All the Way" project has also been honored this award. In September, 2013, CFDP has been honored "the Example for Transparency" for 2013 sample survey of prominent social organizations.More
