Our Story A partnership formed by a coding bootcamp student (Adobe scholarship) and a principal software engineer from Oracle on sabbatical at Galvanize tech workspace. The decision was made to use cutting edge technologies to make an app with mainstream appeal for all platforms (web, Android & Apple). With a few ... dollars in our pocket, grit and a bit of luck, we followed the historical footsteps of giants such as Walmart, Airbnb and Facebook to leverage the power of React, React Native, AWS and Node to make the wildly popular app, ChoreZap, the Slack for households!• November 2017 - Partnership formed. • November 2017 - Brainstorming session on multiple app ideas from car-sharing, e-commerce editor to chores management. • November 2017 - ChoreZap database and server-side architecture and development implementation.• December 19 2017 - ChoreZap mobile user interface completed.• December 20, 2017 - ChoreZap Mark I release for mobile platforms. • December 22, 2017 - Public relations prospectus presentation for potential corporate sponsors from Toyota, Walmart Labs, Atlassian Jira team, Amazon and many more at Galvanize tech workspace. • January 2018 - ChoreZap team at the Developer Week 2018 Hackathon.• February 2018 - ChoreZap team volunteers to tutor students and host mini hackathon.• February 2018 - ChoreZap official press release held at Galvanize SOMA.Special thanks to the staff and clients at Galvanize, friends from Adobe, Apple and Walmart Labs and our family for your support!More
