CITIZENS ELECTRIC CORPORATION

Citizens Electric Corporation is a voluntary organization that generates electric power & transmits it across the region. They generate the energy from solar panels & deliver to the community. They are open to anybody that can use organizational facilities and are ready to assume the duties of membership, regardless of gender, ethnic, economic, political, or religious differences. They work with the principle of democratic member control, members’ economic participation, autonomy and independence, education, training, and information, cooperation among cooperatives. The corporation is one of Missouri's 40 electric power distribution cooperative societies, and it is the government's widest term of kilowatt-hour revenue growth.
