CLARKE UNIVERSITY

Clarke University, formerly known as Clarke College, this private Catholic school gained university status in 2010. This shift is indicative of Clarke's expanding academics, which now includes several master's and doctoral degrees in Nursing, Business Administration, Physical Therapy and Education. The university's undergraduate academics are extensive, as well, featuring more than 30 majors in everything from Business Administration to Musical Theatre. Clarke also offers about a dozen pre-prof... essional programs, including pre-law, pre-medicine and pre-pharmacy. Student life at Clarke is particularly active for a small university. There are about 30 registered clubs and organizations on campus, as well as several opportunities for local community service. Student art exhibits, musical performances and theatre productions further enrich the campus community. Clarke's undergraduate admissions process consists of three main requirements: the online application, official high school transcript and ACT or SAT scores.
