COLLEGE OF THE CANYONS
Part of the Santa Clarita Community College District, College of the Canyons provides accessible educational opportunities for a variety of academic and professional needs. Its versatile academics span more than 150 associateโs degree and certificate programs, from common fields like Nursing to more specialized areas such as Animation and New Media Journalism. College of the Canyons also offers continuing education and professional development programs. These range from workshops and professi... onal licensure to mentor programs and networking clubs. The admissions process at College of the Canyons is handled online. Degree-seeking students should complete the online application and submit high school transcripts and test scores (if available). The free assessment requirements will determine your skills in math and English, and the online orientation will detail academic offerings and college life at COC. In addition to government programs like grants, loans and work-study, COC offers merit-based financial aid in the form of scholarships. Eligible students can also apply for the Board of Governors Enrollment Fee Wavier, which is a need-based program open to California residents.
