College of the Desert earned its name from its Palm Desert, California location, among the palm trees and blue skies. In two years, students can earn a certificate or associate’s degree and be ready for a career or transfer. The career center is prepared to help its students find post-graduation employment with their career assessment, employment development, job fair, job search workshops and study skill resources, as well as a virtual career center that can help you get hired with tips and job searching.More
