COLLEGE OF THE OZARKS

College of the Ozarks is located in Point Lookout, Missouri and founded in the Presbyterian tradition. Committed to academic excellence and Christian principles, College of the Ozarks has become a reputable institution of higher learning. College of the Ozarks is a particularly unique university: called “Hard Work U” by The Wall Street Journal, students are not charged tuition, but instead work on campus every semester to earn their education. College of the Ozarks discourages all full-time... students from incurring debt, which is why it does not participate in any government loan programs. Though College of the Ozarks prides itself on its unique characteristics, it still offers most traditional concentrations for a bachelor’s degree, including pre-professional programs. Pre-professional programs help students earn prerequisites for graduate programs in their field, such as law, medicine, engineering, and pharmacy. College of the Ozarks also offers teaching credential programs for those looking to teach elementary, middle school and high school levels.
