COMMUNITY HOSPITAL SCHOOL OF NURSING

Community Hospital in Springfield, Ohio, is one of the state’s more respected medical facilities, offering treatment for individuals of all ages. For more than 100 years, the hospital has been offering a nurse-training program as well. Since it’s clinically-based students get the benefit of working in a high quality facility, alongside quality medical professionals. In addition, Community Hospital works in collaboration with Urbana University, granting Community Hospital nursing students a... n associate’s degree in Health Science. Those who are admitted to Community Hospital’s Nursing School usually have a grade point average of at least 2.5. Admissions requirements include a high school diploma or GED and pre-requisite courses in Math, English, Science and Social Studies. The preferred minimum ACT score is 20 and minimum SAT score is 800. Financial aid is awarded through a number of sources including Pell grants, SEOG grants, work-study, scholarships and loans. Rehabilitation and veteran’s benefits are also available, as are emergency student loans.
