The company was founded in October 2019 by Dr. Takaki, a Japanese intensivist with more than 20-year experience in critical care medicine, from his strong desire of wanting to decrease preventable death and sudden changes in patient conditions while in the ICU. As a Yokohama University certified startup, CROSS SYNC develops a variety of AI clinical assistant tools in collaboration with affiliated hospitals, the school of medicine, and the department of health data science.
