DELAWARE TECHNICAL AND COMMUNITY COLLEGE

With an enrollment of over 5,000, the Jack F. Owens campus is one of the two largest locations of Delaware Technical & Community College. It is also the college’s oldest location, established in 1967 as the Southern campus then renamed in 1995. Student life at DTCC Owens will certainly appeal to athletes. The campus is home to the college’s baseball and softball teams. The Roadrunners compete in Division II of the NCJAA. The Owens campus also features a number of student organizations, such... as the Student Nurses Association and the Performing Arts Club. DTCC Owens’ academics grant certificates, diplomas, and associate’s degrees in a variety of fields. Students interested in vocational training might pursue the school’s Medical Assistant, Heating & Cooling, or Office Administration programs. If you’re interested in transferring to a four-year institution, an associate of arts degree is an excellent choice. In total, there are over 90 academic concentrations available at the Owens campus. Delaware Technical & Community College strives to make education affordable, offering scholarships, grants, and other forms of financial aid to eligible students. For example, Delaware’s SEED program is a scholarship for full-time students in an associate’s degree program.
