Golf.de and mygolf.de are the leading golf websites in europe. The websites connect every single golf club to one central database. All golf related information is exchanged in realtime between clubs, golfers and the golf federation. The company was founded in 1996 and reaches almost every golfer in Germany and Switzerland. The system underneath called "World Golf System (WGS)" was exported the first time in 2009 into South Africa. This was the first step to implement the vision to connect all relevant golf nations to one central database and use this data hub to bring golf worldwide closer together.
