On February 29, 2012, Fanor-Faculdades Nordeste S/A (DeVry Brasil), a subsidiary of DeVry Inc. acquired FBV S/A. In July 2013, DeVry Inc announced it has completed the acquisition of Faculdade Diferencial Integral (Facid), located in the state of Piaui, Brazil.
