DILASA SANSATHA

Dilasa is a Non-Government organization established on 2nd October 1994 and was registered on 9th September 1995. Dilasa’s focus is on creating infrastructure for sustaining livelihoods of marginalized communities like small marginal farmers, landless, and women. The developmental efforts are being made with the active participation of people especially beneficiaries. This makes acquire the trust of the people by involving them in planning, experimenting & implementing the activities for their... welfare. Main role that, Dilasa play is to facilitate the people in solving their problem & issues by extending support at technical level, promotion of people’s initiative, leadership & ownership. The supporters of Dilasa have extended cordial support to achieve its objective. Caring Friends, Mumbai has especially been supporting Dilasa since last seven years in building up its capacities & infrastructures. Caring Friends Mumbai has also introduced Dilasa with other supporters for implementing innovative ideas for bringing about change in the present distress of the farmers for whom it works. Dilasa works towards the holistic development of the downtrodden and deprived sections of the society-tribal, scheduled castes, nomadic tribes, exploited women and children- through project areas that cover watershed and irrigation development, women’s empowerment, agricultural research and support networks for farmers and children.More
