DINE COLLEGE
Serving the residents of the Navajo Nation with campuses in Arizona and New Mexico, Diné College (DC) gives its students the education they need to transfer to another college or to enter the workforce. DC is a diverse institution that has a wide range of academics and course offerings, such as: * Computer Information Systems * Early Childhood Education * Environmental Sciences * Fine Arts * Office Administration * Public Health * Small Business Management and Entrepreneur... ship * Social Work A special Navajo curriculum is also provided at all DC campuses, and students can earn a degree in Navajo Language. Even though DC is one of the lower-priced postsecondary schools in Arizona and New Mexico with regard to tuition and cost per credit hour, there are still a multitude of financial aid options for interested applicants. Admissions applications to DC must be accompanied by an application fee, Certificate of Indian Blood (CIB) for all American Indian applicants, and proof of a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants are not required to submit traditional standardized test scores (ACT or SAT), however they must take a placement test once they are accepted. College life at DC boasts an assortment of athletic opportunities, student clubs, recreational activities, and many more. There is on-campus housing available at the main Tsaile campus, and paid internships are offered regularly to those who are interested and meet the qualifications.
